Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia launches web page on Vietnam-Indonesia relations

PSNews - A web page on Vietnam-Indonesia relations was launched on December 30, 2020 by the Vietnamese Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations.

Vietnam and Indonesia established diplomatic relations on December 30, 1955. Over the past 65 years, the two nations have always maintained good friendship, which was fostered by Present Ho Chi Minh and President Sukarno as well as other leaders and people of the two countries, in spite of numerous changes in the region and world.

Recently, the two countries established a strategic partnership, based on which the two sides strengthened their traditional relationship and cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral terms.  

The web page at https://vnembassy-jakarta.mofa.gov.vn/vi-vn/65nam/Trang/default.aspx will have speeches on bilateral relations by leaders of the two countries, news and documentaries on Vietnam-Indonesia relations, Vietnam-Indonesia relations logo competition, Vietnam-Indonesia relations photography exhibitions in Yogyakarta and Bali, as well as information about tourism, business and trade activities and events regarding the two countries.

Such information will also be posted to an English-language web page https://ivfa.or.id/ run by the Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association.

Specially, the web page presents the letters of Party General Secretary and State Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to their Indonesian counterparts on the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations.
