Trung said the Vietnamese Party and State always believe that the Party and people of China will carry forward their glorious traditions and reap greater achievements in the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.

He also briefed the Chinese side on Vietnam’s COVID-19 prevention and control, and orientations in the time ahead.

For his part, Song noted his belief that the Vietnamese Party and State will successfully realise the Resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress.

The officials spoke highly of positive developments in relations between the two Parties and nations over the past time. They also exchanged views on cooperation activities in the coming time, including the continued building of a shared borderline of peace, friendship and development, and the well control of differences at sea, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the bilateral friendship and cooperation between the two Parties, countries and people of Vietnam and China.
