To mark the 64th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Police Force (July 20, 1962 – July 20, 2026), General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security, sent a congratulatory letter to all officers and soldiers of the People's Police Force.
Party General Secretary and State President To Lam highlighted the country's recent socio-economic achievements, recognising the significant contributions by the People's Public Security force, particularly the People's Police, senior police leaders over different periods and the Association of Former People's Public Security Officers through grassroots movements safeguarding national security.
The Public Security Department of Science, Strategy and History (Public Security Institute of History) under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) has just released the book "60 years of the People's Police Force - Historical Events (1962 - 2022)".
