Tourists fascinated by sparkling light concert on Han River

PSNews - Under the Earth theme, the second fireworks night took place on May 20th within the framework of the 5-night Danang International Fireworks Festival 2017 (DIFF 2017) impressed tourists with a five-element floating stage and the modern 2D Mapping screen.

The firework performance of the Japanese team at the beginning of the night brought audiences to the vast universe with planets, spaceships and nebulae.

On the background music from the movie "Attack of Titan", a series of different fireworks told a story about the universe making audiences go from surprise to excitement.

With 50 years of experience, the Swiss team led the audience through different emotions from happiness to tension and enjoyment... in the journey to the top of the Marble Mountains in Da Nang city.

During their performance, the Swiss team used modern techniques and set off fireworks from a 4m-high platform in 21 different directions at a high speed, to paint a picture of the Marble Mountains of Da Nang city.

Impressive and fascinating to the last minute, the Earth night became a new feature of the DIFF 2017, which hints at more nice surprises in upcoming Metal - Water - Wood nights.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2017 officially began on April 30 and runs in two months until June 24, with the participation of 8 teams from the USA, France, China, Japan, the UK, Australia, Switzerland and the host Vietnam.

Inspired by the Marble Mountains of Da Nang, this year's Fireworks Festival titled "Light up Marble Mountains" consists of a series of 5 nights named Fire - Earth - Metal - Water - Wood, take place on Saturdays.

Danang expects that its DIFF hosting will create a intensive hallmark for the city in 2017, and to be a "must-come festival" in the future. The city also plans to welcome about 2 million visitors to this year's Fireworks Festival.

Along with the fireworks nights, Danang city also holds several other festivals during the 2 summer months. These include the street festival with 9 special flower cars designed as 9 small stages; and the five-elements cuisine space themed Fire - Earth - Metal - Water - Wood with 500 unique dishes
