Super yacht of Tottenham Hotspur's owner visit Halong Bay

PSNews - On May 16, British billionaire Joe Lewis, owner of the famous football team Tottenham Hotspur visited Halong Bay on his 150 million-USD super-yacht Aviva.

After traveling to Phu Quoc, HCMC, Can Tho, Nha Trang and Da Nang, on May 16, British billionaire Joe Lewis came to Halong Bay with the aim of visiting the Vietnamese famous attraction as well as seeking for investment opportunities.

At the welcoming reception, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Dang Huy Hau introduced Joe Lewis about Quang Ninh's general potential and strength. In particular, Quang Ninh authorities always encourage private investors in developing infrastructure including seaport, airport, highway.

For his part, Joe Lewis thanked Quang Ninh authorities for the warm welcome and expressed his impression of the beauty of Halong Bay. He said that after coming back to his country, he will surely introduce Halong Bay to his friends and to owners of other super yachts.

Lewis is widely known as owner of the English professional football club Tottenham Hotspur. His total wealth is estimated at 5.2 billion USD and he was listed as the 388th richest person on Forbes’ 2018 list of billionaires. As Lewis’ mobile office, the 98-m Aviva, built by German-based Abeking & Rasmussen, was launched in 2017. It is ranked 57th among the top 100 biggest yachts in the world.

Ha Long International Cruise Port is the first cruise port in Vietnam which is capable to host all of the world’s most imposing and advanced cruises travelling to Halong Bay.

Including 6 wharfs, of which 4 are dedicated to cruises and travel boats and 1 pier (with two wharfs) for heavyweight international cruises, Ha Long International Cruise Port is situated at the heart of Bai Chay Tourist Site by Ha Long Bay – a World Natural Heritage Site recognized twice by the UNESCO – thus a dreamlike tropical heaven for both domestic and foreign cruisers who come seeking for an enjoyable vacation on the bay, as well as explorations of the beautiful city of Ha Long and Vietnam in general.
