Sultan of Brunei to pay State visit to Vietnam

Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei will pay a State-level visit to Vietnam from March 26-28 at the invitation of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei will pay a State-level visit to Vietnam from March 26-28 at the invitation of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong. 

Vietnam and Brunei established diplomatic ties on February 29, 1992. Since then, the two countries have regularly exchanged visits and high-ranking meetings.

Two-way trade hit 97.7 million USD in 2016. The two countries have set the goal of raising bilateral trade to 500 million USD in two-way trade by 2025.
