Streets, paths, and public places have been beautifully decorated with national flags and flowers in celebration of the 73rd National Day.
On September 2, 1945 at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, declaring to the world the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Ever since, September 2, 1945 has become a glorious landmark in the nation’s history.
