Within the framework of the spring festival of ethnic groups, there are many traditional activities for people of all ethnic groups of the country, including traditional cultural shows, Ven village tea party, folk games, tea picking contest…

The festival’s highlight is a goat fighting contest to be held for the first time, which is expected to attract many local people and tourists.

The festival of ethnic groups, according to the Yen The District People Committee, also aims to introduce tourists and local people to the potential, strengths and cultural heritage values of the local ethnic groups in the context of the country’s innovation and development.

With available potentials, the Yen The District People's Committee in collaboration with local people and businesses has invested in the spiritual and ecological tourism site of Xuan Lung – Thac Nga.

The Xuan Lung – Thac Nga tourism site contains the complex of Xuan Luong temple, pagoda and ancient well; and an over-thousand-years-old green ironwood tree, which on February 13 was recognized as a national heritage, and serves as a great highlight of the tourism site.

Yen The District of the Bac Giang Province covers a natural area of more than 300km2. The district is the living place of 10 thousands of people in 14 ethnic groups living together, namely Kinh, Tay, Nung, Hoa, Dao, San Diu, San Chi, Cao Lan…
