Russian President Vladimir Putin made the statement during a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia to Dang Minh Khoi, who presented a letter of credence to the President on December 1.

President Putin emphasized the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam covers political, economic, humanitarian areas and many other areas.

During his talks with President Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Moscow on November 30, both sides reached agreements on broadening the Russia-Vietnam cooperation, he said.

He voiced his hope that the ambassador will make every effort to further enhance relations between Russia and Vietnam with many new cooperation contents, and carry out mutually beneficial projects, useful initiatives for the benefit of the two countries’ peoples.
