At his talk with CEO of Adidas Kasper Rorsted, the PM thanked the European business community, including Adidas, for cooperating with and supporting Vietnam in the negotiation process of the EVFTA.

Receiving Carlsberg’s President and CEO Cees’t Hart, PM Phuc hailed the corporation’s business success in the past time. He stressed that together with other foreign groups, Carlsberge has made significant contributions to the equitisation process of the beer, alcohol and beverage industry in Vietnam.

He hoped that Carlsberg will join efforts to accelerate the EU’s ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), helping open up new opportunities for businesses from both sides.

Talking to Facebook’s Vice President Nick Clegg, the Vietnamese Government leader asked the company to cooperate with Vietnam to develop its IT sector, particularly in assisting start-ups and small and medium enterprises in accessing information and developing their business via social network.

Regarding the recent cases involving the spread of false information on the social network, PM Phuc asked Facebook to fully abide by Vietnamese regulations, and improve its management as well as services for Vietnamese customers, especially the authentication mechanism to prevent tampering.

At a reception for Executive Vice President at Sanofi’s External Affairs Kathleen Tregoning, PM Phuc praised the firm’s projects in Vietnam, which helped protect and improve Vietnamese people’s health.

He wished that Sanofi will continue technology transfer in the production of medicines, vaccines, and biological medicinal products while improving product quality and reducing medicine prices to make it accessible for all citizens.
