President Quang underlines top security for APEC 2017

State President Tran Dai Quang has underscored the need to ensure top security and order for the APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week set to take place November 6-11 in the central City of Da Nang.

On the afternoon of October 28, right after his arrival in Da Nang, President Tran Dai Quang made an inspection visit to Da Nang International Airport.

According to a report by the Subcommittee for Security and Health Care, the Subcommittee has instructed the General Department of Logistics and Technology to work closely with police officers, relevant agencies and localities to effectively implement plans to ensure absolute safety for APEC 2017 activities.

The State leader emphasized that ensuring security and order for the APEC 2017 Summit is of paramount importance. He hailed the efforts of police and army forces to protect security and order during the upcoming APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week.

The delegations of the APEC member economies have greatly appreciated Vietnam’s preparations, Quang said while asking the Subcommittee for Security and Health Care and relevant forces to complete security plans as soon as possible to cope with every bad situation.
