PM Phuc highlights importance of Party leadership for State agencies

The leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and people’s support are seen as major factors for State agencies to accomplish all of their assigned tasks.

PM Phuc  made the remarks at a February 22 gathering of officials and employees of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc, and the Party Committee of overseas Vietnamese agencies on the occasion of the traditional lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

The government leader acknowledged the committees’ efforts in giving timely advice to the Party in leading State agencies in performing their functions and duties. 

He said the Party committee of the Central Businesses Bloc plays an important role in boosting national development, as the Central Businesses Bloc is vital to the socialist-oriented development of State-owned enterprises, which make significant contribution to GDP growth and national development.

The Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc should work hand in hand with the committee for managing State capital in enterprises to manage State capital and Party members in these firms well, he said.

Chairwoman of the Mass Mobilisation Commission Truong Thi Mai  pledged to enhance people’s role in Party building Party and operational reforms to meet growing requirements set by the Party.

Mai also congratulated the Government, the Prime Minister and all-level authorities on their success in 2017, thus consolidating the public confidence in the Party leadership and State management.
