PCC’s Politburo and Secretariat inspect Public Security Central Party Committee Standing Board

Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 04 of the Politburo and the Secretariat, led by Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung, held a meeting on the afternoon of March 2 in Hanoi to announce its decision on inspection and supervision of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee in 2026.

At the event, a representative of the delegation announced the decision on the establishment of a delegation of the Politburo and the Secretariat to inspect and supervise the Public Security Central Party Committee Standing Board, as well as an inspection and supervision plan.

Accordingly, Delegation No. 04 will supervise the Standing Board’s leadership and organization of the study, dissemination, communication and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; the implementation of Directive No. 01-CT/TW issued on January 23, 2026 by the Politburo on studying, disseminating and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; and Directive No. 46-CT/TW issued on May 16, 2025 by the Politburo on leading the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure, across the Public Security Forces.

Addressing the meeting, Head of the Central Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung emphasized that the Politburo and the Secretariat always attach great importance to inspection and supervision work, and that inspection and supervision activities are carried out right after resolutions and directives are issued to ensure exact and effective implementation of the documents.

The objective of the inspection and supervision drive, he noted, is to find out innovative and creative approaches to the implementation of the documents so as to replicate good models. Via inspection and supervision, the inspection delegation will also identify difficulties in implementing the documents, and recommend the Party Central Committee to issue further guidance, helping lower-level Party organization to effectively realize Party resolutions, and successfully organize the elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure.

On behalf of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed great appreciation to Head of the Central Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung and the Politburo and Secretariat’s Inspection and Supervision Delegation for their supportive instructions.

Minister Luong Tam Quang stated, immediately after the 14th National Party Congress, the Public Security Central Party Committee has had a comprehensive plan to seriously organize the resolution study and dissemination drive across the Public Security Forces. It is striving to set an example of a Central-level Party committee in organizing the study and dissemination as well as in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.  The Public Security Central Party Committee will shortly translate the resolution into its leadership orientations and the work program of the Public Security Forces.

He affirmed that the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee has fully agreed with the delegation’s inspection plan and working schedule, and stands ready to closely coordinate and provide complete and timely documents and materials as requested by the delegation.
