The Party leader has highly valued efforts of the ambassador to Vietnam during his term of office in Viet Nam. He emphasized that, Mr. Hiroshi Fukada has made great contributions to strengthening bilateral strategic partnership during his term in Vietnam.

The Party General Secretary also expressed his delight at the strong and practical development of Vietnam-Japan ties in multiple fields, especially since the two countries’ leaders issued a Joint Vision Statement on bilateral relations on the occasion of the Vietnamese Party General Secretary’s visit to Japan in September 2015.

The Vietnamese Party and State always consider Japan a long-term leading partner, he stressed.

Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada, for his part, pledged to do more to strengthen bilateral relations and people’s exchanges and showed his desire to continue promoting all-around ties with Vietnam, including intensifying high-level visits, and increasing coordination in regional and global issues.
