Official reception for Singaporean Prime Minister held in Hanoi

This has been the 3rd visit, following the 2010 and 2013 visits, by Mr. Lee Hsien Loong to Vietnam in his capacity as the Singaporean Prime Minister. In September 2013, the Singaporean PM paid a visit to Vietnam on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore. In the same year, the two countries issued the Joint Statement on the establishment of the Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership.
