October 1 : Vietnam Railways to sell tickets for Tet Dinh Dau online

Vietnam Railways Corporation has informed, from October 1, it would hold the sale of tickets for the Tet Dinh Dau (Lunar New Year 2017) for individual passengers via their website at www.dsvn.vn, vietnamrailway.vn, vetau.com.vn or at local train stations. On these website, each customer can book each time no more than 4 one-way ticket at a time.

Previously, the VRC announced that between September 25 and September 30, it would spent 20% of all ticket plans for sale to collectively as students, industrial park workers, then takes all the remaining seats on the electronic ticketing system to serve other passengers.

VRC also adds, it would put tourist trains in operation for Tet Dinh Dau from January 17 to February 12 In particular, the peak time is defined as follows: Thong Nhat Saigon trains even numbers run from 0h 17 Jan 2017 to 24h 25 Jan 2017.

Thong Nhat Hanoi trains odd numbers run from 0h 31 Jan 2017 to 24h 12 Feb 2017.
