Nearly 79 million eligible voters nationwide will head to the polls for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure on March 15.

After thorough preparations from the central to grassroots levels, the essential conditions for the nationwide event – widely regarded as a major festival of the people – have been completed. Beyond its significance as an important political event, the election is also an occasion for citizens to exercise their right to mastery through the ballot, demonstrating their responsibility to the nation.
