On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Member of the Politburo and Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man visited and presented gifts to police officers and enlistees of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department, on the morning of January 4th, 2025.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Member of the Politburo and Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man visited and presented gifts to police officers and enlistees of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department, on the morning of January 4th, 2025.

Reporting on the work results of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Force, Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Le Viet Thang stated that, despite facing numerous difficulties and challenges, the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department has effectively implemented all the directives of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security as well as the Party Committee, the People's Council and the People's Committee of Yen Bai province, actively advised the local Party committees and authorities on security and order protection as well as closely coordinated with relevant branches and sectors to take synchronous measures to safeguard national security and ensure social order and safety in the province over the past year.

Thanks to the diligent efforts of the Yen Bai police, the security and order situation in the province was successfully maintained, and there were no criminal hotbeds or organized criminal gangs.

Notably, the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department mobilized maximum forces and means to respond to Typhoon Yagi and relieve its aftermath, as well as launched an intensive crime suppression campaign with the participation of thousands of police officers and enlistees to ensure security and order for the Lunar New Year 2025.

Additionally, the police department also achieved numerous outstanding results of the implementation of the Government’s Project 06.

Speaking at the meeting, NA Chairman Tran Thanh man hailed the outstanding achievements of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department over the past time.

The NA Chairman underlined that, as numerous major events of the Party and the State will take place in 2025, the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department should heighten their sense of responsibility to excellently complete all the assigned tasks, worthy of the heroic tradition of the Vietnamese People’s Public Security Forces.

As the traditional Tet holiday approaches, on behalf of the Party, State and NA leaders, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man extended best regards to all local police officers and enlistees, wishing that the Yen Bai Provincial Police Force would continue to uphold their spirit of solidarity and creativity and excellently complete all assigned tasks, actively contributing to building a beautiful and prosperous Yen Bai province.

On the occasion, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man also presented gifts to disadvantaged officers and soldiers of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department.
