MPS introduces late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s book

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS), the Truth National Political Publishing House and the Central Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization co-organized a ceremony to introduce the book “Building truly clean, strong People’s Public Security Forces, being ready to make sacrifices for the nation and wholeheartedly serve the people” by late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, on the afternoon of November 11 in Hanoi.

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung; Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Central Committee Lam Thi Phuong Thanh; Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House Vu Trong Lam; and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization Phan Xuan Thuy.

In his address, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that, throughout his life, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong consistently paid special attention and made great contributions to the cause of safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and safety and building the People’s Public Security Forces.

The Minister noted that the late General Secretary always paid special attention to building truly clean, strong and loyal Public Security Forces, encouraging the forces to successfully fulfill their political missions and remain a trustworthy pillar of the Party, the State and the people.

Minister Luong Tam Quang stated that the late General Secretary’s invaluable speeches and articles compiled in the newly released book reflect his great intellect, vision, care and high sense of responsibility, as well as his profound affection and trust in the Public Security Forces.

He affirmed that the book is not only a precious source of reference but also a guiding compass for the Public Security Forces in performing their duties and building the forces in the years ahead.

It also serves as a manual for Party committees and local authorities to strengthen their leadership of security and order work in their designated localities. It also inspires patriotism and encourages citizens to actively participate in the cause of safeguarding the Fatherland and maintaining national security and social order.

At the ceremony, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House Vu Trong Lam stated that the late General Secretary’s articles and speeches on the building of the Public Security Forces constitute a legacy of enduring value and great significance to the forces and the broader cause of protecting national security.

Comprising 600 pages, the book is divided into three parts:

Part One: Building comprehensively strong Public Security Forces, absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the people.

Part Two: The Public Security Forces: firmly safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and safety, ready to make sacrifices for the nation and wholeheartedly serve the people.

Part Three: Deep memories and sentiments of the Public Security Forces for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and the political responsibility of the forces in the new era.
