Over the past time, the two ministries strengthened their coordination in the fields of information security and safety, internal political security, as well as in preventing hostile’s propaganda activities against the Party and State and applying information technology in crime prevention and control.

Minister To Lam presents the “National Security Protection" Medal to officials of the Ministry of Information and Communications with outstanding contributions to ensuring national security.

The coordination between the two ministries has made an important contribution to realizing guidelines of the Party, State’s policies and laws on the development of information and communication while ensuring a secure and safe information environment for people.

The regulation stipulates the principles, scope, content, form and responsibility of the coordination of the two ministries in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and fighting against crime.

On behalf of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung awards the "For the Cause of Information and Communication" Medal to leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and officers of its subunits.

Based on the new coordination regulations, the two ministries will lead their subunits to strengthen coordination in the fields relevant to their work.

Annually, the two ministries will alternately host a conference to review the results of coordination and draw up specific plans for their coordination in the following year.
