The deputies gave ideals on the criteria of members of the missions and ambassadors and support for their families, along with coordination between the missions and Vietnamese delegations visiting the host country.

They clarified the management of construction of buildings for the missions, as well as operation costs for the missions.

The same day, the lawmakers discussed a report presented by the NA Economic Committee verifying the investment policy for some sections of the North-South Expressway in the 2017-2020 period.

After listening to a report clarifying adjustments of the draft Law on Public Debt Management (revised), they gave opinions on some points of the bill, concentrating on the explanation of norms, as well as the responsibility, right and authority of individuals, organizations and agencies in managing and using public debts.

They agreed on the criteria of public debt safety, the management of re-lending and oversea loans of the Government, together with inhibited activities in public debt management.

Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung and Chairman of the NA Committee for Finance and Budget Nguyen Duc Hai also explained some issues raised by the deputies.

On October 6, the lawmakers will attend a plenary meeting to debate reports of heads of the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuracy, and a report of the Government on the fight against criminals and corruption in 2017.
