The APEC Economic Leaders’ Week is the final and most important event of the APEC Year 2017 hosted by Vietnam. This event has been given top priority and considered by the host country central to its foreign policy in 2017. The Vietnamese people as well as the international community are expecting much of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.

Here are the impressive numbers related to this important event.

21: The number of leaders of APEC member economies has confirmed to join the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Vietnam.

10,000: The number of foreign delegates will be participating in various activities within the framework of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang.

3,000: The number of Vietnamese and international reporters will be in Vietnam to cover various activities of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, including 1,000 from foreign news agencies.

759: The number of volunteers has been selected and trained for days to support leaders of economies and international delegations as well as reporters during APEC.

1,600: The number of vehicles has been prepared by the host country to transport delegates participating in the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week. All drivers working for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week have been trained carefully to ensure absolute traffic safety for the delegates.

792: The number of cameras has been installed in Da Nang to ensure security and to support the functional forces to quickly respond to any eventualities.

500: The number of health workers has been mobilized to establish 32 permanent and temporary medical teams to serve the APEC 2017 Senior Week.
