The PM said the university has high quality teaching and described this joint project as a “lighthouse” in the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Vietnam attaches great importance to and wants to develop its strategic partnership with Germany, he affirmed.

He hoped Ghawami, as a close friend of Vietnam, to continue helping promote the bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of education and training.

The PM also called on the administration of the Hessen State to support initiatives celebrating the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Germany diplomatic relations in 2020.

Ghawami said in the year, the German state will have many cooperation plans with Vietnam, including the building of a specific programme to mark the event with the country’s Ministry of Education and Training.

The two sides are expected to sign a bilateral agreement on education-training soon, he added.
