Government provides big support for supporting industries

PSNews - The Prime Minister has just signed a Regulation on managing and implementing the development program for supporting industries.

According to the newly issued document, the Government will provide funding for activities of connecting supporting industry firms in support of shaping supporting industry networks ready to serve domestic and foreign manufacturers and to promote foreign investment in supporting industries.

Especially, foreign investment projects in supporting industry may be reimbursed by the Government 100% of costs of surveying market, assessing demands, developing standards and quality control standards for supporting industry’s products.

100% cost support may also be applied to the enterprises that have adopted management systems meeting the requirements of global production chains for corporate governance and production management.

Regarding developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of support industry manufacturing, the Government will provide 70% of the costs of assessing of human resources, developing training programs for managers and technical workers, organizing training courses, and hiring consultants and foreign experts.

According to the document, the Government will also provide 50-70% of the costs of research, development and application of high technologies in producing testing components, parts, raw materials and materials.

Enterprises, demanding supports, must have their projects approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
