The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) holds a ceremony on June 7 in Hanoi to give awards to the numerous winners and to open an exhibition showcasing the winning photos.

Tran Thi Thu Dong, chairwoman of the VAPA, said the contest is run by the VAPA under the sponsorship of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the Image Sans Frontiere (ISF), and Photographic Society of America (PSA). It was first launched on March 31, 2021, and concluded on July 31, 2021.

The contest features four sections, including open colour, open monochrome, travel, and portrait.

The contest attracts a total of 16,458 entries from 1,260 photographers worldwide.

Moving forward, the VAPA will continue by launching the 12th international photo contest in Vietnam.

Entries should be submitted to organisers between June 15 and January 15, 2023, at www.contestvn.com. A ceremony for the winners is due to be held in March next year.
