The Bac Ninh province National Assembly (NA) Delegation had a meeting with voters in Que Vo district on June 21 to report local voters on results of the third NA sitting.

The NA delegation included Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, deputy head of the Bac Ninh Province NA Delegation and member of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Tran Thi Van, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Quoc Chung, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Nguyen Dinh Loi, Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Bui Duy Hung and other local officials.

At the meeting, NA deputies briefed local voters on results of the third NA sitting and informed them of how competent agencies responded to the issues and questions raised by local voters in the previous meetings.

According to NA deputies, the 15th NA passed five laws, discussed 6 law projects, make resolutions to major issues of the country, and issued decisions on high-ranking personnel.

After that, local voters voiced their concerns about water and air pollution in the province, low allowances for village-level officials, repair of some road lighting systems and criteria for rural roads.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To applauded local voters’ high sense of responsibility for the country in general and the province in particular, and acknowledged their constructive opinions. He affirmed that he and other NA deputies will pass local voters’ opinions to the NA’s agencies, competent State agencies for solution.

The deputy minister took this chance to report local voters on national socio-economic development, public order and security situations in the country and province. He also thanked local people for their support for the local police in preventing and controlling crime as well as maintaining public order and traffic safety in the province in the past time.
