Da Nang to build coastal ceramic mural road

The embankment along My Khe, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches in Da Nang city, will be decorated with ceramic murals, which are expected to be completed in early 2017.

This project has been approved by the Da Nang City People's Committee. The 1.3km long ceramic mural will run from the Vo Van Kiet - Vo Nguyen Giap T-junction to  Nguyen Van Thoai - Vo Nguyen Giap T-junction. The total funding for this project with a length of 1, 3 km is over VND11 billion ($500,000).

The 1.3km long ceramic mural will run from the Vo Van Kiet - Vo Nguyen Giap T-junction to  Nguyen Van Thoai - Vo Nguyen Giap T-junction. 

The ceramic paintings of 5-10 m long, 1.5-2 meters high will be connected with each other. The content will focus on subjects of specific culture of Vietnam in the past andpresent, the life and people of Da Nang, and the fishing industry in the central region.

Vice President of Da Nang, Dang Viet Dung, saidthe project aims to renovate the landscape along Da Nang’s coast to attract visitors. 

The work is scheduled for completion in March or April 2017.
