Congratulations to China on 72nd National Day celebration

Senior leaders of the party, State, Government and National Assembly of Vietnam have sent greetings to their Chinese leaders on the 72nd National Day of China (October 1).

Party General Secretary of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue cabled a letter of congratulation to Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Zhangshu.

In their letter, the Vietnamese leaders congratulated China on the achievements it has recorded in national development over the past 72 years. They expressed their belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and President Xi personally, Chinese people will successfully complete the strategic goals and tasks set by the 19th National Party Congress, to build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful.

They affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach great importance to developing the Vietnam - China relations in a healthy and stable manner.

Vietnam is willing to work closely with China to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and promote their comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large, they said.

The same day, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also cabled a message of congratulation to his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
