Central Theoretical Council holds 4th session

The Central Theoretical Council convened for its fourth session in Hanoi on December 23 with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in attendance.

He asked the renewal process required more robust reform in theoretical thinking and work, saying this required the Council to review reality to develop breakthrough solutions while reflecting on research by universities, institutes and sectors. 

The Council should cooperate more and improve joint theoretical work with ruling Communist Parties and other Parties in the world to selectively learn the finest of world theory for Vietnam’s reference. 

The Party leader asked the council to focus on improving the quality of reality summarization and theoretical research to better serve the leadership of the CPV Central Committee and its Political Bureau and Secretariat and the drafting of the 13th National Party Congress’s documents.

Theoretical Council members proposed solutions with scientific grounds for feasibility aiming to promote and raise the efficiency of theoretical work in the context that Vietnam is going ahead with the socialist oriented market economy and the fourth industrial revolution towards deeper international integration in order to ensure the country's rapid and sustainable development.
