According to Artist Trinh Minh Tien, founder of RealArt, this event is an effort of the Vietnamese art society in making the art market of the country transparent.

Tien said, in recent years, the domestic art market has seen significant development. Vietnam has now seen the formation of more big art spaces and commercial art activities have also become more vibrant with big art fairs and art auctions.

Particularly, after more than 30 years depending on foreign customers and international visitors, the Vietnamese art market has left its hallmark and gained a firm position in domestic art lovers’ heart. This achievement resulted from efforts of many art enterprises and organizations in bringing art to the community.

As planned, the opening program featured the exhibition "Mascara", displaying women portrait paintings by contemporary artists, such as Vu Dinh Tuan, Nguyen Van Cuong, Nguyen Nghia Cuong, Bui Thanh Tam, Ngo Van Sac, Nguyen The Hung, Pham Tuan Tu, and Luong Duc Hung.

Additionally, at the exhibitions, participating artists and art lovers will have chance to exchange and share viewpoints on promoting art among people, preventing the circulation of fake paintings and strengthening belief of art lovers.

On September 2, “Thu’s colors” fashion show will introduce people a collection co-produced by Designer Pham Thu Hong and Artist Tran Thu.

On September 2 evening, Nguyen Duy Thanh, one of the well-known contemporary dancers, will bring a special show to the audiences. He has participated in many grand domestic and international performances and contributed much to the development of the contemporary dance in Vietnam.
