Alternative members of the 13th Party Central Committee visit National Population Data Center

A delegation of the refresher course for alternate members of the 13th Party Central Committee paid a visit to the National Population Data Center, on the afternoon of February 15, 2023, in Hanoi. Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted the guests.

At the meeting, the delegates watched a documentary about the National Population Data Center, were briefed on the function of the Digital Mapping Room of the National Population Data Center.

Deputy Director of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan briefed the delegates on the functions of the Digital Map Department of the National Population Data Center.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam warmly welcomed the delegates to the National Population Data Center, and said that the National Population Data Center was established with the aim of managing and administering society in a comprehensive, comprehensive,smart, modern and efficient way.

With large-scale, modern facilities and good security, the Center's database has been and will effectively support ministries, branches and localities in managing, exploiting and using population data,contributing to socio-economic development locally as well as nationwide.

The Ministry of Public Security is still entrusted by the Government to build a national data center.

The minsiter stressed that the center will facilitate the building of smart city so he hoped that all cities and provinces will strengthen coordination with the Ministry of Public Security in building the National Data Center and provincial-level data centers.
