A day at locked-down commune in Vietnam amid Covid-19

PSNews – Since February 13, Vinh Phuc Province has locked down Son Loi Commune in Binh Xuyen District, where six people have contracted the new coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The Son Loi Commune is quarantined for 20 days, from February 13. The working mission at each checkpoint also prepares appropriate measures to handle cases emerging.

During the quarantined time, all people of Son Loi commune will be provided with food and other necessities.

The local police force has also set up 12 checkpoints and mobilized 352 officers from the local police and military units, health sector and communal officials to control the disease.

Besides, 100 police officers and soldiers are ready to support upon request.
