95 articles win 11th National Press Awards

The Jury Council of the 11th National Press Awards has selected the best 95 press and media pieces to grant prizes, which include 7 A prizes, 24 B prizes, 39 C prizes and 25 consolation prizes.

Journalist Thuan Huu - Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Jury Council of the 11th National Press Awards emphasized that: “The council has strictly followed the rules and regulations of the contest and worked on the OK9 Cabidates for the prizes objectively at the final round. We have also had a meeting to review all phases of the contest and drawn valuable lessons for the organization of the following events.”

According to the Jury Council, this year’s press and media pieces have vividly reflected economic, political, security and defence issues of the country in the current period.

Many pieces discussed new issues in a professional and attractive manner that have great influence over society.

The awarding ceremony will be held on June 21 - the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day, in Hanoi.
