1. Enjoying a general view of Ha Long Bay from 150 meters high on a Hai Au seaplane

Seaplanes may be familiar to foreign tourists, but flying on seaplanes is still a new experience for most Vietnamese. The seaplane tour will offer you a chance to watch the pilot operating the plane, enjoy the endless blue ocean and numerous rock islands emerging from the blue sea of Ha Long Bay, which looks like the scene in the blockbuster “Kong: Skull Island”.

The flight from Hanoi to Ha Long is very short, only 45 minutes compared to 4 hours travelling by road. A seaplane tour will be definitely an unforgettable experience for adventurers.

2. Kayak tour to collect garbage in Hoi An

In response to the pollution in various tourist destinations, many domestic and international tourists become excited about tourist services of collecting garbage on Kayak in Hoi An. Visitors are instructed how to “kayak”, how to use tools to collect garbage while paddling 6km along the Hoai River to the ancient town. At the end of the tour, specialized boats will come and collect the garbage collected by tourists. The cost for the new tourist service is US$ 10 for foreigners and free for Vietnamese. The money will be used to equip boats, tools and personnel management.

3. Crocodile fishing Ho Chi Minh City

Standing on a composite canoe which is covered steel net to ensure safety, each visitor will use special fishing rods to fish crocodile. Crocodile will appear, heading for bait. It takes the canoe 20 minutes to run around the lake. The service is offered in the Vam Sat tourist site, Can Gio district, HCMC. It is easy to travel there from Ho Chi Minh City downtown. However, this tourist service is not for children or people with heart prolems.

4. Watching 20,000 flying fish in Can Tho

On Son islet, Can Tho city, tourists are offered the chance to participate in various activities including canoeing, making traditional dishes and especially fishing and making various dishes from snakehead fish. Here, tourists can also enjoy a special performance by thousands of flying fish. This unique performance will surely leave great impression on tourists.

This tour may cost 25,000 VND (over $1) for each ticket.

5. Walking in the bottom of the sea in Nha Trang

This special tour in Nha Trang is suitable for all people at all ages, even those who do not know how to swim. All visitors can leisurely walk on the seafloor just like they travel on land. They will be wearing a special diving helmet and be instructed by professional divers. Flocks of colorful fish swimming or coral reefs will give tourists unforgettable experiences.

6. Mining tour in Quang Ninh

The tour is co-organized by the Quang Ninh Tourism Department and various tour operators. Tourists will visit the traditional house to explore the history of Cao Son mine. After that, special vehicles will take visitors to the open mining field to see how the “black gold” – coal, is transported. Visitors can take pictures with large trucks, exchange with miners, experience uniform of mine workers and buy products made from coal.

Coal mines, which are generally restricted areas, have now been opened for tourists and become a new and promising tourist product.
