325 products by 172 firms honored as 2022 national brands

PSNews - The Ministry of Industry and Trade on October 25 held a press conference to inform about the 8th National Branding Programme Announcement Ceremony 2022. After 18 years, this program increasingly contributes to affirming Vietnam as a country with high-quality goods, capable of competing in the world market.

The ceremony honouring national brands 2022 will be live broadcast on the national VTV1 channel on November 2.

At the press conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai stated that, as many as 325 products by 172 enterprises have been honoured as Vietnam National Brands 2022. Thus, the whole country has 48 more enterprises with products achieving National Brands, an increase of 38.7% year-on-year.

Deputy Minister Hai, who is also permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam National Brand Council, said a ceremony honouring national brands 2022 will be live broadcast on the national VTV1 channel on November 2.

According to the organising board, the eighth selection of national brands has attracted over 1,000 businesses in different sectors since the launch over nine months ago. 

This year, the programme saw the presence of new products and services like e-payment, hotel management, and experience tourism. Several well-known brands like VAS Nghi Son, Nova Land, Bao Viet and VNPT, have joined the programme for the first time.

The programme’s Secretariat consulted branding experts and State management agencies related to taxation, customs, and social security for the selection.

After 18 years, the Vietnam National Brand programme has attracted great attention from prestigious enterprises and has honoured outstanding brands representing the Vietnam National Brand, contributing to affirming Vietnam as a country with high-quality goods, capable of competing in the world market.
